Sarah Ryor is a Connecticut based artist specializing in multimedia abstract collage and painting. Her fine art studio is located at The Hurley Factory in New Hartford, Connecticut. Amongst the title of artist, Ryor is also an abstract art educator, intuitive abstract painter, sculptor, and photographer. She studied stone sculpting under Bob Lockhart at Bellarmine University.

“Color, movement and organic forms have always inspired my art. I strive to capture their motion in different mediums. I create pieces in an attempt to evoke an emotional response from the viewer”

Ryor spends her spare time salvaging old materials that can be repurposed for her original works. She is also an avid plant lover, fostering plants that line the walkway to her 5th floor studio making the repurposed industrial building just a little more welcoming.
